Course Description:

One stroke painting is a decorative painting technique. Learn how to correctly load your flat or round brush with at least 2 colors. How to put pressure on the brush that melds the colors together and creates the blending, shading and highlighting all in one stroke each time. This versatile technique makes painting quick and easy. It does require practice, but you will end up making all kinds of pretty things. You will enjoy its speed and simplicity. Join this workishop – you’ll love it ?

    Course Description: This workshop is for beginner as well as intermediate learners. Students can choose any medium they like or they can work with multiple mediums. You will learn how to set up your color palette, creating transparent, translucent and opaque washes, and identifying and mixing the values and hues that you want to work with. You will learn how to vary your work between sharp and soft lines, train your eye to identify and recreate gradation, and lay in light and shadow accurately and how to balance color blending and textures. You are welcome to bring your own reference photo or choose from class reference material, set-up your own still life in the studio or you can manipulate 2 or more pictures to get the idea to create the final painting.
